Connectors
Notion
Let an AI employee read the Notion pages you share with WorkPier, and propose changes to them.
With Notion connected, an AI employee can search and read the pages and databases shared with WorkPier, and their comments. It can also propose changes: create pages, add rows to databases, edit, move, archive and restore pages, and add comments.
Connect Notion
- Open Connectors in the sidebar. Under Available, on the Notion card, choose Connect.
- Choose Continue to authorization. In the new window, sign in with your own Notion account and review the requested permissions.
- The card moves to Your connections and shows Connected.
Share pages with WorkPier
WorkPier sees only the Notion pages shared with the WorkPier integration. If a page can't be read, open it in Notion and share it with the WorkPier integration (••• > Connections), and check it isn't in the trash.
Use Notion in a task
- In the box on Home or in a task's reply box, choose Add materials (+) and then Notion, or type @ and choose Notion under Services. This adds @Notion to your message.
- Describe what you want done and send. The AI employee searches and reads your shared pages straight away.
- When a change shows a card in the task: for a new page, paste the link or id of the Parent page and choose Create in Notion. For other changes, check what the card lists, then choose Confirm or Cancel.
When you answer an AI employee's question, Add from Notion asks for a Notion page link or id. Copy the page's link in Notion, paste it and choose Choose page.
Permissions
On the Notion card, choose Permissions to switch off what AI employees may do: Read pages, Create and edit pages, Comment, and Delete pages and comments. Deleting a page archives it. People on a page are notified of comments. See Connectors for how the switches work.
With Auto mode on, low-risk changes that match your request run without asking. Deletes, sharing and messages to others always ask.
