Connectors

Dropbox

Let an AI employee search and read your Dropbox, and propose changes to files there.

With Dropbox connected, an AI employee can search your Dropbox and read files, earlier versions and sharing details. It can also propose changes: create, edit, move, copy, restore and delete files and folders, and share them.

Connect Dropbox

  1. Open Connectors in the sidebar. Under Available, on the Dropbox card, choose Connect.
  2. Choose Continue to authorization. In the new window, sign in with your own Dropbox account and review the requested permissions.
  3. The card moves to Your connections and shows Connected.

Use Dropbox in a task

  1. In the box on Home or in a task's reply box, choose Add materials (+) and then Dropbox, or type @ and choose Dropbox under Services. This adds @Dropbox to your message.
  2. Describe what you want done and send. The AI employee searches and reads your Dropbox straight away.
  3. When a change shows a card in the task, check what it lists, then choose Confirm or Cancel.

An AI employee uses your Dropbox only for a message in which you mention @Dropbox.

When you answer an AI employee's question, Add from Dropbox opens Choose a Dropbox file. Open a folder to see what is inside, then choose the file to add.

Permissions

On the Dropbox card, choose Permissions to switch off what AI employees may do: Read files, Create and edit files, Delete files, and Share and access. This only changes WorkPier; your connection stays the same. See Connectors for how the switches work.

With Auto mode on, low-risk changes that match your request run without asking. Deletes, sharing and messages to others always ask.
