Files, knowledge and projects

Projects

Keep a brief, a default AI employee and pinned materials together for related tasks.

A project keeps work context, a default employee and knowledge together. Every role can create and organise projects in the workspaces they can access.

Create a project

  1. Open Projects in the sidebar and choose New project.
  2. Enter a Project name. Add a Project brief: AI employees read this brief in every task in this project.
  3. Choose a Default AI employee if you like, then choose Create project.

Pin materials

  1. Open the project and choose Choose pinned materials.
  2. Tick the files in Knowledge you want every new task to include, then choose Save.

Changes apply to new tasks. Existing tasks keep their materials. Pinned materials use some of the 10 places for files in a task.

Tasks in a project

  1. In a project, choose Create task in this project to start a task there, or on Home use Choose project (optional) in the task box.
  2. To move an existing task, open it and choose Move to project… (or Change project…) in its Task actions menu, pick where it goes and choose Move task.
  3. From a project's task list you can also choose Move to another project… or Remove from project.

A moved task keeps its conversation, results and materials already provided. From the next message, the AI employee uses the brief of the new project. You see the tasks you started; other people's tasks are visible only to owners and administrators.

Archive and restore

  1. To archive a project, open its more actions menu and choose Archive. To archive a task, choose Archive task in its Task actions menu.
  2. To bring one back, open the Settings menu in the sidebar, choose Archived, find it under Tasks or Projects and choose Restore.

Owners and administrators can also choose Permanently delete for an archived task or project. This cannot be undone.
